This coming Saturday marks the first appearance in Victoria ever for California’s Dilated Peoples. Opening will be Chicago’s Kidz In The Hall. Tickets are still available at Lyle’s, Ditch, Higher Ground, Aspen’s and at Ticketweb.ca!

Two massive hip-hop shows are hitting Victoria next month. GZA, the man from the Wu Tang Clan will be blowing into town March 8th, his third show in the city in 2 years! Also, professional rabble-rouser turned Family movie star Ice Cube will be making his first ever appearance in Vic on March 23.

A double-blast of punk Christmas cheer will be blowing through Logan’s Pub next week. First up is Alcoholic White Trash’s Xmas show on Dec.17, followed by the Christmas-themed punk coverband Angry Snowmans the next night with local garage punks The Stockers.

The Surf-Rock Guitar King himself, the legendary Dick Dale, will be blessing Victoria with a show at Logan’s Pub on Dec.10th. This stop is part of his Acoustic/Electric Tour, and he’ll be accompanied by his son Jimmy Dale on guitar. Also, check out the skull-tastic poster our own Evan Pine did for the show!

Victoria needs more riffage! For real. That’s why you should head down to Logan’s on the third day of December in the two-thousand-and-tenth year of our lord. Locals Rorschach will be on hand, as will Vancouver’s Black Wizard and backwoods-Islanders Bullbucker. The grooves will be mammoth and the rock will be heavy!
