For the better part of a decade, event postering has been a cornerstone of our business. On any given day, we’re out there distributing posters all across the Greater Victoria area. As the city’s premiere postering service, we stand by our reputation for efficient and thorough service.We offer two types of distribution; for best results, a combination of the two is recommended. We only accept exclusive postering contracts for events that are both local and dated, and reserve the right to refuse a contract if the poster is deemed inappropriate.

Core Postering – $0.20 per poster

On a daily basis, our employees poster on the 50 legal poster cylinders in the downtown core. Every poster added to our runs is done on a ‘by-the-day’ basis, meaning it’s possible to view an entirely different set of events every day. When we receive your event poster, it will be slotted into one of two sorts which will be alternated every second pole. Our system is designed with the intent that, with the daily refresh, on any given pole you will not see the same events as the previous day.

Posters for core postering can be printed in-house or provided by the client. Supplied posters must be 11″ x 17″ in size and in portrait orientation. For an average core postering campaign, we recommend a 2 week campaign of 14 days, which would require 350 posters and cost $70, not including printing costs or taxes.

Please be aware that we are not the sole users of the poster cylinders. If your poster is not visible, it may have been covered.

Instore Postering – $0.60 per poster

In addition to our downtown core postering service, we also offer the option of distribution to store-fronts, campuses, bulletin boards and remote cylinders all across the city. Our full-time instore poster guy travels to a selection of neighborhoods in the Greater Victoria area.

A typical instore campaign will begin between three to four weeks before the event and will continue until the contract is filled. Please note that specific placement can be requested, but will not be guaranteed; poster placement is often subject to both the discretion of the store or venue and to space restrictions. We also do not remove postings that are still valid, so a campaign may take longer during peak periods.

Posters intended for instore distribution can be either 8.5″ x 11″ or the more standard 11″ x 17″ size. Posters exceeding this size are subject to additional charge due to space considerations.

An average instore campaign consists of 100 posters, distributed three to four weeks before the event, at a cost of $60 not including printing or taxes.

We print all out posters on Xerox print machines on 100% recycled stock where possible.
